I am so looking forward to another fun week at the lovely Salinara Art Farm this autumn, October 19th - 26th.
I know that it will be the usual delight to teach and guide.
I love being there and it feels like my home from home now.
Lovely painting locations, wonderful food and wine, our perfect hosts Adriano and Yumi - and best of all a great bunch of people to think, talk and practice Art with 24/7 for a whole week. What on earth could be better than that?
For these arty getaways, it honestly doesn't matter how much experience you have had, I can help you with hints and tips to help your individual journey wherever you are on the ladder. I teach with watercolours, as they are so portable and really so much fun too. Don't believe that they are the most difficult; cheating is definitely allowed. If you would rather bring another medium, please do - the fundamentals apply whatever you're working with.

After our last very successful painting week at the lovely Salinara Art Farm last April I couldn't wait to do it all again - and here it is!
From September 28th to October 5th I am very happy to invite you to spend a glorious week with charming hosts Yumi and Adriano, great accomodation, the amazing resident chef Emiliano - AND many fantastic painting venues close by. I teach mainly in watercolours, as they are so easy to transport and use outdoors. I do encourage experimentation and individuality though, so you are welcome to bring any materials you are inspired by |
All levels of experience are welcome - we ALL have something to learn and working with a group of like-minded people is always a bonus; quite often a total beginner opens everybody's eyes to new possibilites!
My daughter Tamsin will again be posing for us for some fun drawing exercises.
We will be visiting Saline with its windmills and saltpans, the Medieval mountaintop town of Erice, the coastal town of Marsala and many other nearby sites. We are spoilt for choice!
